When looking for a used car, or as most manufacturers like to call them, pre-owned, we often overlook the manufactures pre-owned car sites and jump straight into mainstream used car sites such as Autotrader and CarFind. Gumtree and OLX is also fast becoming our primary source for used car shopping.
One of the best advantages of shopping on manufacturer sites is that we can find dealership demo specials, which in my opinion is one of the best ways to get the car that you want at a significantly better price. I've listed below a few of the major manufactures sites to help you shop for some of those deals:
Opel and Chevrolet are G2 certified on g2cars.co.za
Toyota goes as Automark on automark.co.za
Peugeot list their cars on preowned.peugeot.co.za
Ford list quality approved vehicles on fordused.co.za
BMW is listed on PremiumSelection
Mercedes-Benz on preowned.mercedes-benz.co.za
VW have their MasterCars listed on vw.co.za
Hyundai on hyundai.co.za/pre-owned-vehicles
Audi on audi.co.za
Citroen pre-owned preowned.citroen.co.za
I was unable to locate a used car site for Nissan, Renault and Mazda.
